This Metropolis series is excellent – so much depth within the each piece as if exploring the corners and angles of our every metropolis with intriguing colors and compositions.

    Mark,

I LOVE your work. I really want to see it up close. I also love your story. It’s amazing how you’ve come full circle, have done well in the journey and you are very grounded. It’s a pleasure to know you.

Simply beautiful, though there is nothing simple about them.

Congratulations! I’d like one of each.

Mark Travers is such a talented artist! His work is so unique…I have never seen anything like it. I love his perspective of being up close, and looking straight down on the subject. His latest collection is spectacular. I feel as if I just traveled to a Zen garden and got lost in it for an afternoon, surrounded by brilliant colors and tranquil water, and can now face the world again. Thank you, Mark, for sharing your gift with the world.

These are GORGEOUS pieces, Mark. I am drawn into each and every single one emotionally and visually. As my friend John Sabraw says, Art on!

I really love your series “On the Surface.” Somehow you’ve added dimension or a 3D illusion on a flat surface. Each painting ‘approaches’ the viewer in a vibrant AND elegant manner. Beautiful work.

Mark, You have a unique style that is fresh, refreshing, and peaceful. Growing up on the beach, I can relate to the sandy beaches where the ocean waves roll in, dissipate, retreat, and disappear. Very nice.

Mark, it is a real treat to see this amazing side of you! I love the work you are doing, and very excited for you to be exploding this side of your creativity! Very nice indeed! I look forward to continuing to hear how things are going for you. Maybe even a trip to the cool water fountain and some jazzy music. I will bring the berets!

    Hi Mark:

A friend sent me your website, I guess we share the same name, font and perhaps a few other things. I spent 1977 in San Miguel, and a few visits in the intervening years. My mother, an artist took my sister and I out of school for a sabbatical. I took art and photography classes at the instituto. I was just there a few weeks ago, but there was no trouble, just a papal visit….

    Cheers

    Mark

    P.S. nice work!
